My Gambling Den Vingt-et-un Variation Casino Game
by Marco on June 26th, 2009
I have bet on countless of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
